The RIFFA distribution contains a sample design that counts the number of bytes sent and returns the same number of bytes on a single channel. It is a fully functional design and includes PC software which can be used to test the design. More interesting designs are linked below. They use RIFFA 2.0 to perform meaningful computation on the FPGA:
